The mother of Floyd Mayweather's three children, Josie Harris has reportedly passed one after she was found dead inside one of her cars at her home in Valencia, California. Before her death, the 40 years old ex-girlfriend of Floyd Mayweather was suing him for $20M for spousal support and had a very strained relationship with the boxer.

The Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department said in a statement that they responded to the death of a woman at around 10 p.m. on Tuesday on the 25700 block of Oak Meadow Drive in Valencia, a neighborhood in Santa Clarita. The woman was pronounced dead at the scene. Although the homicide bureau responded, they have listed it as a “death investigation.” TMZ reported that 40-year-old Harris was found unresponsive in her car and there did not appear to be any foul play. Mayweather was convicted of violently attacking Harris in 2010 and later served two months in prison.

In an interview with USA Today in 2017, Harris gave a sorry reflection of her time with Mayweather.

Quote
'I was a battered woman,' Harris said. 'I felt embarrassed about saying I was a battered woman. I felt shame. I felt like it was my fault. What did I do? I didn't understand what a battered woman was at that time.

'Now I know I was in a very dysfunctional, hostile relationship and a victim of domestic violence.'

She didn't see Mayweather much past the jail term he served in 2010 but added: 'For some reason I still get anxiety when I know that he is on his way (to collect his children).
