Giveaways are one of the most popular things on the Nigerian internet space, hence the Nigerian government has decided to partake in it. The official handle of the the Nigerian ministry of finance was spotted begging the founder and CEO of Tesla, Elon Musk for some free ventilators for the coronavirus patients after the later tweeted that his company has over 10,000 ventilators to donate to hospital around the world. I doubt the electronic car company will consider the appeal from the Nigerian government given that thet government has very poor track record of keeping to promises and also a very bad reputation on corruption. Read the tweet exchange below:

Elon, do not give them any thing. Nigerian private sectors have contributed over 15 billion Naira for the corona virus, ministry of Finance gave senate 37 billion naira for enjoyment. The same ministry of finance said Buhari has the right to borrow $27 billion. Whatever you have Elon, just give it to a more serious,  honest and trust worthy countries who have their citizens at heart. Nigerian  APC government  is nothing to write home about.

Why? Many people will benefit from it, or are you thinking they will sell it to people in black market?
