This is the very bad situation that Nollywood actress, Funke Akindele has found herself. The superstar comic actress has come under renewed criticism from Nigerians for her insensitivity in throwing a house party for her husband's 43rd Birthday. The party had several celebrities including Naira Marley, Eniola Badmus and others who have recently visited the United Kingdom this year. The backclash has caused Funke Akindele to try putting out an explanation to clear the air, but has failed in some ways. Here are the tweets she initially put out:
