An official diplomatic document has revealed that China wrote to the Nigerian government claiming that 72 Nigerians tested positive to the coronavirus in Guangzhou.

According to the document, they were 16 confirmed coronavirus cases, while 56 others have tested positive and 65 others of close contact among the Nigerian community in Guangzhou as at April 21st.
This is coming after the Nigerian Government reacted to videos, pictures and complaints of Chinese nationals carrying out xenophobic attacks on Nigerians and other Africans.
