The Caucasian who claimed Nigerian citizenship, said he is from Ilorin, the Kwara state capital.

In a short interview with a Nigerian lady, he identified himself as Yakubu Durojaye, and all through the conversation, he spoke in fluent Yoruba with the Nigerian lady.

The man says he worked in Ilorin in 1965. He says he lived there for two years and worked in a school.

He also spoke about the Yoruba delicacies he enjoyed while in Nigeria.

The video has wowed fans on social media who praised him for his dedicated efforts in learning Yoruba language.

How is this a big deal? Nigerians speak English, Yiddish, French, Slavic and other numerous languages. This is ' slave mentality' to be excited, because someone speaks your language.

Each time i see such post, i´m always ashamed of Nigeria. What is so important in a white man speaking any Nigerian language?
I live in Europe and i speak and write Spanish fluently, French, little Dutch and even EUSKARA( Basque Country Language in Norther Spain). The Europeans believes that when you lives in a place for at least one year, you are supposed to speak that language, except you have a weak brain.
So, poster should stop posting such senseless post.
