These Nigerian female celebrities and aritist have gotten names for themselves in the industry and are making their fans proud of them.

Below are the names and photos of the female artists

1- Omawumi: Omawumi a Nigerian singer-songwriter and actress. She is a brand ambassador for Globacom, Konga, and Malta Guinness. She’s also part of the campaign called “Rise with the Energy of Africa”.



2- Asa; Asa is a  popular guitarist, songwriter, and recording artist. In 2008, she won the Prix Constantin award, an annual French music prize awarded to the best album of the year.



3- Tiwa Savage; Tiwa is a famous Nigerian Afro pop singer, songwriter, recording artist, stage performer and a model. She began her music career doing backup vocals for artists such as George Michael and Mary J. Blige. In December 2011, Savage co-hosted the second season of Nigerian Idol alongside IllRymz. She has signed endorsement deals with MTN Nigeria, Pepsi, Forte Oil and Maggi.



4-Yemi Alade. Yemi Alade is a famous Nigerian Afro pop singer, songwriter, vocalist, artiste, and stage performer. She won the Peak Talent Show in 2009, and had a hit with her single “Johnny” in 2014. She has won major awards like The Headies award for Hip Hop World Revelation of the Year 2015, Best Performer in 2017, 2018 and 2019.



5- Seyi Shay. She is a famous Nigerian based R&B afropop singer, songwriter, actress and stage performer. She has won several awards like The Headies for the best R&B single in 2019, MTV Africa music awards for best female and video of the year in 2015.
