The description of Nigeria by the United States Department of State has gotten many Nigerians talking on social media.
On the travel advisory page of the US State Department, citizens of the country were discouraged from traveling to Nigeria because it is a dangerous and violent country.
The report read in part;

“Violent crime – such as armed robbery, assault, carjacking, kidnapping, and rape – is common throughout the country. Exercise extreme caution throughout the country due to the threat of indiscriminate violence.
Terrorists continue plotting and carrying out attacks in Nigeria, especially in the Northeast. Terrorists may attack with little or no warning, targeting shopping centers, malls, markets, hotels, places of worship, restaurants, bars, schools, government installations, transportation hubs, and other places where crowds gather.
Sporadic violence occurs between communities of farmers and herders in rural areas.
There is maritime crime in the Gulf of Guinea.
The U.S. government has limited ability to provide emergency services to U.S. citizens in many areas of Nigeria due to security conditions.”
It goes on to list some states and the criminals activities they are known for. eg, Borno and Yobe States and Northern Adamawa State due are specislly known for terrorism while Adamawa, Bauchi, Borno, Gombe, Kaduna, Kano, and Yobe states due are known for kidnapping.

The USA is the worst place of violent crime in the world. Nigeria is also a place of violent crime sponsored by government, Example = Boko haram, fulani herdsmen terrorist groups, kidnappers and bandits, all supported by government security officers.

NIGERIA IS A TERRIBLE SOCIETY. 3 YEARS, 5 YEARS, 10 YEARS OLD GIRLS ARE BEING RAPED CONSTANTLY. IT IS NOT AS WORSE AS THAT IN THE UNITED STATES.

Gone are the days when 9ja was upcoming in crime compare to USA. Politicians please don't make the rest of Nigerians in diaspora helping themselves and innocent people back home to stay alive die of hunger, alright. Maitatsine, Bokoharam...etc evils.

Yes - Second World USA is worse than 9ja in crime. Third World gets criticised for they don't have a voice, they only turn to snakes when it comes to stealing money.
