As domestic flights resume in Nigeria today, a low turnout of passengers was witnessed at the Murtala Mohammed International Airport Lagos and the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport Abuja.

As at time of filing this report, photos shared online showed scanty departure halls with a low number of passengers coming in for security and health checks. The five airlines that have been given approval to operate, have disclosed that they have witnessed very little bookings since the announcement for the reopening of airports was made.
