The WhatsApp conversation between a couple has been shared on social media and the contents show them debating over the next step of their relationship.

As can be seen in the chat, the lady, 31 year old, pleads with her 25 year old man named Eyitayo to take what they had to the next level, but Eyitayo stated that he can’t because he is way younger than she is and all he wanted was a fling.

The lady then went on to say that time is not on her side and she needs a husband but he insisted on not wanting to have anything serious that may lead to marriage because he cannot afford to take care of himself or her.

The lady however told him that financial responsibility won’t be a problem because she intends to take care of that, and she just wants to settle down with him.

The conversation went back and forth for a while, but she told him to think about her proposal to take care of him throughout their relationship and he shouldn’t make any hasty decision.

Exactly what her intentions his here. She may be genuinely in love with you. And also you dated her for about two years now you should know if she is a wife material cause you are the one who wear the shoes...

Why is it that all we blacks always talk about is "wife material"?? What happened to "husband material"?? I'm a man, and I'll say that it is also very necessary to consider if the man is a "husband material"

In my opinion she has done nothing wrong, though I sense some peer pressure on her, or maybe she is under immense pressure from her family to get married, giving to her age,.
why can’t a lady ask a guy to marry her after dating for  2 years? She wasn’t too old for him to jump in her bed.
You can’t be dating a 35yrs woman and not thinking she wouldn’t be expecting you to ask her to marry you.
Lover boy, go and marry her before you encounter the wrath of a woman’s scorn.
My wife is 5yrs older than me and we have been married for 8yrs, though we have our moments but no relationship is perfect. That is why they always ask you to say for better or worse.
