Although we have the right to be angry and ask many questions, but the truth of the matter is that they have reached a deal, that is, the prosecution and the defendant according to our legal system. The deal in this case is that Mrs Ibru has returned the amount of which the prosecution has evidence against her. The amount which they do not have the evidence cannot be challenged further, hence the low sentence. In all I am not happy with the result because this lady stole billions and has just returned peanuts and she is receiving a low sentence of which she will not even serve. We still have a long way to go in this country and i hope we will start making a headway soon.
