Chief Sunday Adeniyi Adegeye MFR, known professionally as King Sunny Adé, is a Nigerian jùjú singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist.

The prince from Ondo state has been Nigeria's most resilient juju musician, an innovator, master guitarist, afrobeats meastro, a Grammy nominee. He is the unfading  star of Nigeria's music scene, a rock star fixture since the late 60s.

The king of music, a legend, an icon, an inspiration to us all and most importantly, our father! turns 74 today!
