Some youths in Osogbo on Friday stormed the streets of the State capital seeking an end to SARS activities in the State.

The protesters marched through major streets shouting End SARS in chorus with placards.

Some of the inscriptions on the placards read, #Endsars, ‘Nigeria police stop killing us’, and ‘say no to brutal injustice’, ‘stop killing Nigerian Youths’, We are not animal, stop killing us’, among others.

The police officers stationed at Olaiya Junction, in Osogbo in a bid to disperse the protesting youths started shooting sporadically in the air.

The arrest of the two protesters almost led to violence as other protesters stormed the base of the police where their APC vehicle was packed demanding for the release of their colleagues.

The policemen also seized placards and allegedly arrested two of the protesters.

Just a question are the northern Nigeria youths participating in the agitation to end SARS? Or they are not being killed and harassed as the southerners?
