The Lawmaker representing Iseyin/Itesiwaju/Iwajowa/Kajola federal constituency of Oyo State, Shina Peller has expressed displeasure for not being given an opportunity to speak during the plenary session on Tuesday.

Peller during the session made an attempt to raise a motion of urgent public importance, but was not recognised by the presiding officer, Ahmed Wase.

The lawmaker, who was not satisfied with the ruling of the Deputy Speaker, walked out, while expressing dissatisfaction with the ruling.

Subsequently in a tweet, Mr. Peller stated that not even the Speaker, Femi Gbajabiamila or his Deputy can suppress his voice.

“As a HoR member, I represent the people of my Federal Constituency. Any time I stand up to speak, I do not speak for myself but for those I represent. I am their messenger. And nobody, not even the speaker @femigbaja and deputy @HonAhmedWase has the right to suppress their voices,” he stated.

None of them is speaking out for the poor until now , for fear of reprisal. They are all thieves and Buhari should cut their salaries as well (including the monarch allowances) to help create jobs for the masses.
