Channels TV went offline during a live programme, as some thugs were seen taking over the station in Lagos State, shortly after TV Continental went offline after being set on fire by thugs angry over killing of #EndSARS protesting in Lekki, Lagos.

During a programme on Wednesday afternoon, some field reporters were reporting live when one of the reporters’ video started shaking as if disturbed before he was taken off air.

The attack at the station is coming just few minutes after broadcasting Lagos State Governor Sanwo-Olu’s denial of the massacre in Lekki on Tuesday night.

Witnesses at the scene and a livestream on Instagram exposed how about nine people were killed after soldiers opened fire on #EndSARS protesters as they were singing the national anthem.

Sulaiman Aledeh, a former staff of Channels TV, tweeted his concern for the safety of the members of staff after the station went off.
