It was a black Wednesday after a school bus conveying pupils was knocked into a ditch by a heavy duty truck

The tragic incident reportedly occurred in Agwu community of Enugu state on Wednesday October 28, after a truck knocked the school bus into a ditch.

According to a Facebook user, Duru Divinegift who shared photos from the scene of the accident, alleged that about 15 pupils, a teacher and others reportedly died in the accident.

He wrote;


 #BLACKWEDNESDAY: School Children died as Truck crushed School Bus into a Ditch.

Why did I even witnessed this??

On the day time of 28th of October, 2020, Tragedy has befallen Awgu Town, Awgu Local Government Area in Enugu State as truck crushed a School Bus who is on the way to convey school children back to their various destinations into a ditch.

Not less than 15 Pupils + a teacher and other external adults who was affected by the accident, lost their dear life in the cold hand of death. Others were left in critical conditions.

FRSC cannot check unworthy vehicles and speed, just busy collecting money. look at innocent children lost their lives due  gross mis conduct of duty, FRSC and police.

If you have been to Awgu and have seen their roads,you will rather,your child goes to school on foot no matter the distance.

Still the Govt of the day has taken more lives through their failures to truly serve the people. If the Government owned schools are what they are meant to be, people won't take their children to private schools. Look at the condition of the rickety bus used in conveying these children? Look at the roads in that country!

RIP TO THESE CHILDREN AND THE TEACHERS MAY GOD CONSOLE THEIR FAMILIES. YOU CAN SEE THE USELESS GOVERMENT THAT CANNOT REPAIR THIS ROAD. ITS BEEN LIKE THAT FOR LONG.  UNTILL THIER FAMILY FALL A VICTIM THEN THEY WILL THINK OF HOW TO FIX THE ROAD.
