According to a Facebook user, Nnamdi Ezewuzie, the lady had traveled to Asaba for a wedding and stayed at the hotel only for her to meet her untimely death there.

Adaobi Enechukwu Annunciator, A native of Adazi Nnukwu met her death due to the carelessness of this hotel management that refused to work on their faulty elevator. The Elevator door was open and the poor girl walked into that trap without knowing that the elevator didn’t come up. It’s too bad to have such in a hotel and it’s open for biz."

I rather use the staircase than to use any useless elevator that is built in corruption in that failed country....Now look at how a elevator just took the life a poor girl,no be say the hotel hasn't notice the elevator is not functioning properly,or no be say Dem no get money to fix the problem since....That useless hotel needs to be shut down permanently and be sued to court for recklessness and lack of safety.... Rubbish

It doesn’t matter whether elevator come up or down you embark any ways and it will complete it cycle whichever ways. I don’t understand those blaming her that she didn’t wait for the elevator to come up. It’s malfunctioning. Take responsibility.

The thing there is that it's the hotels fault. The elevator had a fault and wasn't there . The thing has already docked down , so the lady didn't watch carefully and fell into the ditch of any empty elevator and now landed with her heart on the ground. What am saying is the management could have blocked all entrance to that elevator. Reporting is the Videographer that Covered the wedding in question.
