A Nigerian man is in a celebratory mood following his older white lover’s acceptance of his marriage proposal.

The man took to Twitter to share photos of the moment he popped the four-word question and she accepted amid joy and excitement.

He had arranged to propose in a room well decorated with flowers, balloons, confetti and a ‘Will You Marry Me’ blown up balloon hung on the the wall.

Sharing the photos, he wrote;
