GISTMANIA reported the case of a 17-year-old girl simply identified as Favour who suffered spinal cord injury after she was severely beaten and raped in the Agbarha Industrial area of Lagos state in April 2020.

According to latest report Favour is dead.

The Non-Governmental Ogranization, DemiCare foundation, who has been following up her case, shared the sad news via its Twitter handle this afternoon.

According to Favour's aunt, Mary Bassey, said the suspect had raped Favour in January. He was taken to the police station where he was made to write an undertaking vowing never to rape her again. Robinson in April, ambushed Favour again while she was returning from her job where she had done the night shift. He beat her up, raped her and threw her into the drainage, causing her to sustain spinal cord injury. She was found two days after the incident.

Robinson has since been arrested.

So much evil and violence, in a country where religion holds sway. And people keep blaming the politicians.
Rom. 13,4 shows that Nigerians are "enjoying" bad leadership and wicked leaders because the average Nigerian is evil, full and brimming with wickedness.
Wickedness of all forms keeps springing up every day. Even the Godliness of countries that neither know God nor believe in His existence, makes me ashamed of being a Nigerian.
When we return to Godliness as a nation, God will have mercy on us and turn things around for good for us. Until then all these protests will continue to be exercises in futility.

Well said. May God have mercy on us.
