Coalition of orphanages and children’s home in Nigeria (COCHIN) has banned visitors from taking photos when they visit orphanage homes.
This was made known in a newsletter sent to orphanage homes across the country.

COCHIN says donors who come to give at the homes in-turn share photos of the children online and this has caused embarrassment and stigmatisation of the children.

It therefore warned it will henceforth not be tolerated and also said any orphanage that allows visitors take photos will be fined N50,000.

Seriously it's a double edged saw as it exposes both sides but will not get into that today.
MY concern is that 50k is too small a money as one can easily buy the picturing.
