The Cable News Network, Inc. (CNN) has had a problem with the request by the Lagos Judicial Panel of Inquiry and Restitution of Victims of SARS Related Abuses, for its group of journalists to show up before them on Saturday, December 12, to give proof on their footage of the #EndSARS Lekki shooting.
Review that the media house completed a detailed investigation concerning the October 20 discharge episode at the Lekki tollgate and shared its discoveries in a two-section narrative delivered in November. In the reports, the media house asserted that the military terminated live ammo at the #EndSARS protesters, a claim the Federal government and the Nigerian Army have well denied.
At the progressing board of request examining the October 20 episode, the media house was asked to come and give proof on the discoveries of its investigation.
In a letter composed by its lawyers, Messrs. Olumide Babalola LP, the worldwide news outfit said the Panel lacks jurisdiction to bring its staff since they are not in Nigeria. The media house filed the objection dated fourth December 2020 at the Tribunal on December 9, 2020.

As indicated by Babalola, the board welcomed him into its Private Hearing Room today and additionaly pardoned CNN from additional proceedings or showing up before the Panel.
