That Any act against Jonathan is against God –Cleric
The Archbishop of Umuahia, Rev. Rogers Uwadi, has said anything against President Goodluck Jonathan’s 2011 presidential bid, will amount to an act against God. The Methodist Church cleric told Daily Sun at the University of Nigeria, Nsukka campus, where he attended the Golden Jubilee celebration of Christ Church Chapel, that anything against the president would be an act against God, because God had already ordained him president.

“If you do anything against Jonathan, you are doing it against God because, God has already ordained him,” he said, adding that; “the talk about zoning is a waste of time. I am not talking about Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) because I don’t owe them any vote. All I am saying is that if a good man should govern us, that there will be peace and prosperity in the nation.”

Apparently, referring to former military leaders in the 2011 presidential race, the archbishop wondered why they did not do, during their regime, what they were saying they would do now and accused them of using “our money which they stole to buy us,” saying that ‘God will not agree’.”
Assessing Nigeria at 50 years of her independence as a sovereign nation, the bishop said Nigeria should turn 350 degrees back to God, stressing that in this regard, the family and the church were culprits.

He noted that all the evil being perpetrated in this country were done by worshipers who belong to the family or one religious organization or the other,
“Our church leaders should come off their shells to discharge their obligations to the nation.” Accusing the church of not living up to expectation, Archbishop Uwadi observed; “the church is chickening out, they have the power to call politicians to order but they are not doing it, but instead they are compromising,” the cleric regretted.
