Peter Okoye Confirms Tems and Omah Lay Are on Their Way Home From Uganda

Nigerian singer, Peter Okoye aka Mr P has shared a fresh update regarding the arrest and detainment of Omah Lay and Tems in Uganda.

We had reported that the singer was arrested for flouting COVID-19 protocols while performing on Saturday night at a concert held at Speke Resort.

Omah Lay later confirmed that he was arrested by the police in Uganda on Saturday.

The musician in a post shared on his Twitter page on Tuesday, December 15, noted that there has been major progress with the situation and the music stars are expected to be on their way back to Nigeria soon.


“Good morning guys! Just to inform you all that there’s a huge progress now and @Omah_Lay and #Tems will be on their way back home soon!

“Pls let’s all be calm! Thanks,” he wrote.
