Shaka Momoh, Planet One Hotel And Events Owner, Dies From COVID-19

News of his demise came to public knowledge after prominent personalities took to Twitter to pay tributes.

Momoh was said to have died of COVID-19 at the Lagos University Teaching Hospital (LUTH) on Thursday.

Segun Awosanya, a Nigerian legal practitioner and social media figure, who confirmed the tragic news via his Twitter handle, wrote: “Lost another gem to Covid19.

The last time we spoke it was about our intervention on his case with a financial institution. Now he is no more. Rest in peace, distinguished Shaka Momoh (Planet One). Covid is real.”
