The Delta State Commissioner of Police, Ari Muhammed Ali, has commended the people of Warri for not setting the Warri Area Command of the Nigeria Police Force NPF ablaze during the October 2020 EndSARS protests.

The State Police boss handed down the commendation during his working visit to Warri.

He said, “Let me thank Warri people for not setting this place ablaze during the EndSARS protests.”

While noting the importance of community policing, CP Ali said all stakeholders must join hands with the Police in combating crime and criminality with a view to making the community safe for all.

Earlier in an his remark, the Warri Area Commander, ACP Abubakar Argungun, disclosed that protection was given to police and police stations by members of the public during the EndSARS protests.
