cultural and traditional issues

Good day pals.i need a clearification on this issue though not a confession and please admin don't delete this because i would love to read everyone's contribution,opinions and stuffs.

I am a nigerian but based in italy with my famliy,haven't gone home(nigeria) for the past 8yrs,my people seem to think i have forgotten them and guess they never take us into consideration.i want to ask especially to the igbos but whoever has an answer can still respond cos my questions relates with the culture and tradition in igbo land.
1: my name is not in the book of umu ada(daughters) of my place,will that cause me any harm when getting married?
2: the contributions umu ada give in the community which is also debited as payments for those not around,is it a must to make the payment and what will it result to if i don't?

Unfortunately I cant comment on this as im nt igbo, and wot I know about nigerian culture, wouldnt help in this instance. Though, I think ur topic is better suited in general discussion, since there isnt a section for cultural issues, cos of ur target audience.
