The pretty actress tells more about herself, her up bringing, her love for acting, her love life and many more in this new interview.

Read below....

Background
I had an interesting childhood. I was raised with so much love from my parents. I can’t say that things were always rosy but my parents did their best to give us (their children) good lives.  However, when I was nine years old, I lost my mum. I cannot exactly put into words what the experience was like because I was still too young to fully understand it then. But, it is something I never want to go through again. The pain of losing my mum and watching my dad cry himself to sleep every night is something I don’t wish on anyone. Aside from that, my childhood was awesome. I was daddy’s girl.

Education
For my primary education, I attended Qua Iboe Church Nursery and Primary School in Akwa Ibom State. I then went to Federal Government College, Ikot Ekpene (also in Akwa Ibom). I proceeded to Macdonald Memorial School, Port Harcourt.

Acting
Acting is not as rewarding as I envisaged. However, I cannot totally say that there are no rewards. I think when one attains a certain height in the movie industry, the sacrifices would be worth it.

Sacrifice
One noteworthy sacrifice I made for my career was when I relocated from Lagos State to Asaba (Delta State) in 2016. Unfortunately, it was a short stay because the producer I paid to project me over there disappeared with my money. I cannot link my success to anyone because no one was involved, except God. This journey has been a personal race for me, with God leading the way.

Family
I have an incredibly supportive family. My siblings and my dad have been very supportive of my acting career. Words are not enough to describe my father’s help. I can only pray that God blesses him.

Interests
I would have been a lawyer if I was not an actress because I have always loved the legal profession.

Embarrassment
My most embarrassing moment would probably be some months ago when I walked into a store in Port Harcourt, Rivers State. I was not well dressed. Suddenly, someone shouted my name. I was so shocked because I was not expecting anyone to recognise me there, especially as I was not well ‘packaged’. As if that was not enough, the person moved closer to me and said, “It is you, right”? and I replied “no”. We both laughed at my response.

Challenges
The most challenging aspect of being an actress is having to deal with the negative ways people think about us. Many people have bad opinions about us and some think actresses cannot make good wives. It is disheartening sometimes when I read things like that about actresses.

Fears
The entertainment industry is very competitive and one of my fears is being a failure. Nobody likes to fail. It is not a good experience having to face failure at any point in one’s life. I also fear not being able to reach the peak of my career on time.

Harassment
I don’t think there is any actress that has not been segxwally harassed in the industry, even if she is the ugliest person around. It is how one handles it that matters the most. Fortunately, I have been blessed to work mostly with decent producers who have never harassed me. It won’t be right to mention their names for the sake of their privacy but they know themselves.

segxwal harassment is one topic people like to avoid. Those who have been harassed never want to talk about it, so that they can continue getting favours from those predators. But, it is practically a norm in the industry.

Fame
The only thing I did to become known in the industry was to push myself beyond my breaking point. I pushed myself so hard that I did not care if I would break. I wanted to get there first and see if truly I would break. I have kept pushing myself against all odds.

Rewards
Acting gave me the platform I am thriving on as an entrepreneur with my clothing brand. When I think of this, I do not regret that there have been times I even acted for free.

Social media
I cannot say I have enough exposure as an actress. I have just been in the movie industry for a few years but thank God for social media, in recent times, one does not have to appear in 100 movies to be known. Social media has been a good platform for exposure for me and I am so thankful about that. With social media, it is easy for people to recognise one from just one movie. That recognition is even better if one is active on Instagram, Facebook or Twitter. Indeed, I have benefited a lot from social media.

Personality
Off screen, I am very lively. I am a very friendly, humble and down-to-earth person. I am very playful too. I laugh a lot, even at the ‘driest’ jokes. That is how much I love to laugh. I cry a lot as well. As a matter of fact, some people say that I am ‘Miss Emotional’. Sometimes, I could be a chatterbox. And, at other times, I could be very quiet to the point that you could think I am sick.
