Pastor Adeboye’s Sons, Leke & Laolu Shave Heads In Honour Of Their Late Brother, Dare (Video)

Leke and Adeolu, the two surviving sons of General Overseer of The Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Pastor Enoch Adeboye, have both shaved their hair and beards in honour of their late brother, Dare.

Pastor Dare died in his sleep on Tuesday, May 4 in his home in Eket, Akwa Ibom State.

In a video posted on Sunday, Leke said: “This is our tradition, anytime we lose a fallen soldier as youths; we shave off our hair as a sign of respect and honour.

“To live is Christ and to die is gain. It is very simple. PD is already gone. How are you living right now? Heads shaved, clean hearts and clean minds.”

Leke added the hashtags, #forPDee #NotTodaySatan

Several male members of the church have also gone bald and cut off their hair to show respect for the deceased who has been widely described as a “soldier” for Christ.

THEY ARE FAKE. SHAVING THEIR HAIR HAVE NO PLACE IN CHRISTINITY. IT IS MORE COMMON AMONG IDOL WORSHIPPERS, PAGANISM OR FAMILY OF TRADITIONAL RULERS.

you are right. Let them read their bible very. Leviticus warns that no cutting should be made on the human body including the head for a dead person

Biblical or not biblical ,every person has own way of mourning their love ones.It is no damn body business how they chose to honor their brother .So, because the guys shaved their hair to pay respect in their own chosen way does means it is diabolical? Ya give me some space dudes!

...YES MY BROTHER, IT IS A BIT PRIMITIVE BUT NOT NECESSARILY DIABOLICAL. WE ALL KNOW THAT SUCH WAY OF HONOURING THE DEAD IS SYNONYMOUS WITH PAGANISM. WHY NOT FASTING FOR 3 OR 7 DAYS? WHY DIDN'T THEY DECLARE A VERY SPECIAL EVENT ON SUNDAY TO HONOUR DEAD BROTHER. SHAVING OF HAIR IS PAGANISM. A GOOD CHRISTIAN SHOULD KNOW THAT.
