PHOTOS: Slices of Yam Now sold in Nigeria Market as People Can No Longer Afford A Whole Tuber

complaints of hike in the cost of food have filled the mouth of many Nigerians, a Twitter user disclosed that slices of yams are currently sold in Nigerian markets.  

While narrating her ordeal, @a_vanita, revealed that 4 slices of yam are sold for N200, while a tuber of medium-sized yam is sold between N1000 - N1200 each.

Which evidence do you want? Is it not obvious that prices of food have gone over the sky in Nigeria? Or do local market woman issues receipt for goods sold?
