Chief Tafa Apapan, the Baale of Araromi, and his wife who were abducted have been freed from their abductors.

The Baale and his wife were kidnapped in his house at Araromi in Ido Local Government Area of Oyo State on Tuesday night, June 22, by unknown gunmen.

The duo was released on Thursday night, June 24. Unconfirmed sources claim they were released after the abductors collected N2 million ransom from the family.
