How do I configure 1&1 email on Outlook?

Configuring 1&1 email on Outlook is a good choice to easily access emails or send some important documents. There are a few 1&1 email settings that you will need to perform which include entering some details on SMTP and IMAP server. IMAP is for incoming email and SMTP is for outgoing email. Here are the steps that you will need to take to configure the 1&1 email on Outlook.

Begin with launching Outlook on your computer.
Click the file tab and then click account settings in category information.
Further, you will need to choose the email tab in the new section.
Go to the server settings and then click next.
Now select the Internet email addresses and click next.
Enter these details, Your name – Enter your full name and 1&1 email address – Enter your full 1&1.com email address.
Now go to the type account, click IMAP, and enter these details.
Incoming email address – imap.1and1.com.
Incoming port – 993.

Don't you worry, brother. Before it was really too difficult, but now it is much easier. I read this page https://www.outlooktransfer.com/products/live-mail-to-outlook-transfer/ about a very apt utility that will do all the transfer for you. I used it when I needed to transfer my own emails to another mailer and had no difficulties to my greatest joy.
