On Wednesday, in the 12th round of matches in the Premier League, Nigeria's golden boy Osaze Odemwingie scored his fifth of the season from the penalty spot as West Brom and West Ham played an entertaining 2-2 draw.

Curiously, it was the first goal the Baggies had scored from the penalty spot in more than 20 months! The last time West Brom scored from the spot was on January 31 2009.
