PHOTOS: Nigeria Army Takes Delivery Of The Super Fighter Jet From US

Nigeria has taken delivery of the first batch of A-29 Super Tucano aircraft.
 
The aircraft landed in Kano, on Thursday 22 July 2021 at about 12.34 pm.
 
Air Commodore Edward Gabkwet, NAF Director of Public Relations and Information confirmed the arrival of the fighter aircraft in a statement
 
Quote
“On hand to receive the aircraft were the Hon. Minister of Defence, Major General Bashir Magashi (Rtd), Chief of Army Staff, Lieutenant General Faruk Yahaya and Chief of Air Staff, Air Marshal Oladayo Amao”,
he said.
 
Nigeria has received the first batch of  A-29 Super Tucano aircraft procured from the United Gabkwet said the second batch of the A-29 Super Tucano is expected to arrive in the country before the end of the year.

It’s supposed to be 6 fighter jets, I’m seeing only one. Lemme give them the benefit of the doubt because it’s “the first batch”.
