Actor & Producer, Shona Ferguson Dies From COVID-19 Complications

South African actor, producer and co-founder of Ferguson Films, Shona Ferguson, has died. He was 47.

According to a statement from his family, Ferguson passed away at noon on Friday, July 30 from COVID-19 related complications.

Ferguson is known for various TV roles including The Queen, Isidingo: The Need, and Scandal!. In 2020, Ferguson made his Netflix debut, partnering with the streaming service on the six-part series, Kings Of Joburg.
