Friends and family of top Abuja Chef, Emeka Vincent-Eloagu, have been thrown into mourning after he was found dead in his Abuja residence late Sunday night. Before his death, the 35-year-old was a chef of repute in Abuja. He graduated from Le Cordon Bleu Paris with a Grande Diplomé in cuisine and patisserie. He created a combination of French cooking methods with Nigerian cuisine and was known to have hosted celebrities and politicians at his restaurant which he operates in the capital city.

While the cause of his death remains uncertain, an account by some of his friends claims he was stabbed to death by assailants who gained access into his home. Another account claims the deceased was killed by two persons who he granted access to his apartment. They allegedly stripped him naked, tied him up, and then strangled him.

Friends and Associates to Emeka confirmed to NewsWireNGR, “Emeka was killed last night, we do not know how and why but we are all in shock”, said the source who does not want his name in print.

“What will anyone have against Emeka? He was the most beautiful human in and out”. “We will wait for the family to issue a formal statement, but at this point, we are still devastated by the news about his demise”. The source said.

Another account says, “Emeka was murdered last night in his house by suspected persons known to him as he had allowed the persons into the house, they left him tied up and naked in his apartment – the source continued, “two men had gained access to the Premises – they strangled him”.
