Central Bank of Nigeria Declares AbokiFX CEO. Olumide Oniwinde Wanted Over Collapse Of Naira

The Central Bank of Nigeria, on Friday, vowed to arrest the owner Olumide Oniwinde and shut down popular forex publishing platform, AbokiFX.

The CBN governor, Godwin Emefiele who spoke after the Monetary Policy Committee’s two-day meeting in Abuja described the platform as illegal, accusing it of putting the Nigerian economy at risk.

Mr Emefiele accused Mr Oniwinde of manipulating the exchange rate.

lol....so a single individual who is not a govt official nor is he a dangote can bring down the naira...interesting revelation. Please how is this govt different from what is being practiced in China? A single communist party? Or how is it different from a Military rule when anyone that speak of injustice is a perceived enemy of the govt and once you joined the party in power, all your sins are forgiven.
