Actor Chiwetalu Agu Has Finally Been Released By The Nigerian Army

Nollywood veteran actor, Chinwetalu Agu has been released by the Nigerian Army. The actor was arrested by troops for wearing Biafra clothing. He was reportedly sharing food to less privileged persons wearing Biafran regalia when government forces stopped him at Upper Iweka Road, Onitsha.

Agu was approached by two soldiers who wrestled him to the ground and dragged him away. Speaking on the incident, Brig. Gen. Onyema Nwachukwu, the Director of Army Public Relations, said the veteran actor was apprehended for inciting members of the public and soliciting support for the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB).

However, actress Chizzy Alichi while giving an update on the actor’s arrest in a post via her Instagram account said he has finally been released. ”Uncle Chinwetalu Agu has been released. He is safe and sound. ”All thanks to God and everyone that contributed in one way or the other,” she wrote.

You and your brother Mohamodu Buhari will go to prison after his tenure for killing innocent Nigerians on a daily basis. Mind you, peaceful protest is not a treasonable offence worldwide. Killing Southerners and releasing blood sucking Fulanis won't bring unity to Nigeria. It just a matter of time.
