Ibadan Poly Students Association Gives Award to President’s Girlfriend For Her Wifely Support

The Association of Students Communicators (ASCOM) The Polytechnic, Ibadan, Department of Mass Communication branch has given an award of recognition to the “girlfriend of the President of their association”, Samiah Temitayo, aka ASCOM First Lady for her “wifely support” in the administration of President Haadi Afees Ishola.

The award was presented by the 2019/2020 exco.

The news has been trailed with mix reactions especially on social media with some people criticizing the students association for awarding her just for the sole reason of being the association’s president’s girlfriend. While others think there is nothing wrong with that.
