Stop Using Emotional Blackmail To Raise Your Kids They Are Not A Toy – Bisi Alimi

LGBTQ Advocate Bisi Alimi has called out parents over the constant use of emotional blackmail to raise their kids. The Gay activist shared that many parents emotionally blackmail their children into doing what they want and it destroys the child.

He explained that emotional blackmail is a toxic trait and eventually kids realize this and detach from their parents. He used his mother as an example saying that it was what destroyed their relationship and now she’s working really hard to rebuild their relationship but the ship has sailed. Bisi finished off by saying that parents should make effort to understand their kids, ask questions, be curious rather than mold them into a mini-version themselves as they are not toys or a plaything.
