VIDEO: Commotion As Police Officer Stabs a Tricycle Rider To Death Over N50 Bribe in Lagos

Police Officer Allegedly st*bs a Tricycle Rider To D**th Around Command, Meiran Road, Lagos.

The policeman is said to be a traffic warder at the Ile iwe police station.

A source who asked not to be named told FIJ that several police officers stopped the tricycle rider on Thursday and demanded a bribe of N50, but he refused to give in.

“He refused to bribe them. The policemen are constantly collecting money from motorcycle and tricycle riders in that area. However, this gentleman refused to pay them this time,” he said.

One of the angry police officers brought out a machete and stabbed the driver to d**th when he refused to give them money. After he d**d, his union members rushed to the scene to protest, but the police officers teargassed them and shot in the air.”
