The Court said that the right to education can be enforced before the Court and dismissed all objections brought by the Federal Government, through the Universal Basic Education Commission (UBEC), that education was “a mere directive policy of the government and not a legal entitlement of the citizens.”

imagine Federal Government is not even ashamed of d fact that education is its statutory responsibility to d citizens, it went ahead to forward such submission to d court. may God help us.

Thank you SERAP and your group of human rights lawyers. Go ahead. Most Nigerians are behind you.

Court Order is Court Order and Nigeria cannot escape it completely. It may take loooooooooooonggeer time, but it MUST be implemented. And as a directive without fixed date of implementation, I wonder which year Nigeria will set the education for child machinery into motion.

JONATHAN GOODLUCK, please set a landmark!

People talk about politicians, what about the Shylock Army Generals - the number one looters, their bosom friends Politicians and brothers the Civil Servants.

Anyway, this court decision will remain the Case history of Nigeria and African. It's a good step, but more need to be done.
