Popular singer, Oluwadamilare Okulaja, also known as Durella fondly called ‘King of the Zanga’, has opened up on how his love for women made him create a condom brand.
“People wanted to crucify me saying Durella he likes women so I decided to do something in that direction. We brought out this condom called ‘Zanga Swagga’. We are looking for sponsors that we can work together. People say Durella like women, so I just want to give something back to my fans who miss me”, he told Punch
Asked why he is back in Nigeria, he said: ”Now that I have my wife and kid, I need to face the music back so that is why I am back in Nigeria because I haven’t been in Nigeria for some time have been in Paris. My family is in Paris but I am in Nigeria right now. The industry has changed, the value of the products we used to produce has changed. Shooting a video right now is expensive”.
Speaking further, Durella said though he likes taking breaks, he is no longer taking breaks when it comes to his music career.
“I like taking breaks but there is no time for breaks no more. My album is coming up titled ‘The African Gangster’, I have been working on it for a very long time. It’s something special and different. I have a lot of fans out there and most of them have missed me. That is why I am putting this album together. I have Ice Prince, Mr Real, Qdot, Oritsefemi and some couple of upcoming artistes too”.
