How Lady Tests Positive To Omicron Variant After Attending Wizkid’s Concert

One of the patrons of the ‘Made In Lagos’ Concert headlined by Nigerian Afrobeat icon and Grammy nominee, Wizkid, has revealed that she tested positive to the new variant of COVID-19, Omicron.

Wizkid staged a monumental show at the O2 Arena in London last week as part of his ‘Made in Lagos’ album tour where over 20,000 music lovers jammed to his songs.

The lady identified on Twitter as @juliaabromzyO disclosed that she attended the day three of Wizkid’s concert and contracted COVID-19 at the event.

She said she had taken the vaccine twice but received a message from the UK government saying that it is likely she has contracted the Omicron variant.

In a related piece of news, Legendary Nigerian musician, Oladapo Daniel Oyebanjo popularly called D’banj has sent an open message to Wizkid congratulating him over his successful tour in London.

Following photos and videos from the concert, D’banj took to his Instagram story to express how proud he is of Wizkid and urged him to continue to breaking new grounds.

He wrote: “Congratulations to my brother @wizkiday. So proud of you bro. keep breaking new grounds. Afrobeat to the word”.
