Former lawmaker, Abdulmumin Jibrin, says the best hope for a future Igbo president in Nigeria is for the southeast region to support former Lagos State governor, Bola Tinubu, to win the 2023 presidential election.⁣

The election that will decide President Muhammadu Buhari's replacement is expected to favor a candidate from the south, based on an unwritten agreement to rotate power between the north and south.⁣

Politicians from the southeast, home to Igbos, have clamored that the position be specifically zoned to the sub-region as it's not produced a president or vice president since the return of democracy in 1999.⁣ Jibrin, a campaigner for Tinubu's 2023 ambition, said in an interview with Arise News that the region has failed to play the right politics to position them, and would have to wait for long.⁣

True they have and still continue to play bad politics. Also, the vitriolic filth that comes from the mouths of the so many social media eRats from the region, like the ones that would respond to this my object comment is likely to make an Igbo candidate a sell to voters from other parts of the country. Candidates like Orji Uzor Kalu or Okorocha that could have been sellable are now terribly tainted for different reasons and won't win. The likes of Anyim, Umahi and Ngige won't gain traction.  That said, the next president would be from the zone, an Efik / Ibiobio person. You can take that to the Bookies and Bank your winnings. Yes, I say so.

No matter how hard you try, you can't hide your hate for Igbo's. You trying to hide behind a stupid assertion by a failed politician campaigning for a crook to stylishly spill your hate on Igbo's is laughable. The thing no dey heavy you for chest?, carrying that amount of hate each day should be stressfull.
