Justice Akintayo Aluko of the Federal High Court in Ikoyi, Lagos, has ordered the final forfeiture of a land belonging to ex-Minister of Petroleum Resources, Diezani Alison-Madueke.

The vacant plot is situated at Plot 13, Block I, Oniru Chieftaincy Family Private Estate in Lagos.

Justice Kuewumi then ordered the EFCC to, through newspaper, notify anyone or persons associated with the property to show cause against a final forfeiture.

In 2017, Diezani lost properties in Lagos, Port Harcourt and Abuja, worth billions of naira, to the Nigerian government.

Justice Abdulaziz Anka of the Federal High Court in Lagos gave a forfeiture order against a 21-mixed housing units at 7 Thurnburn Street and 5 Raymond Street, Yaba worth N937million.

EFCC stated that the properties were purchased by the respondents Diezani, Amamgbo, Chapel Properties Limited, Blue Nile Estate Limited, Azinga Meadows Nigeria Limited, and Vistapoint Property Development Limited.

In an affidavit sworn to by Sambo Muazu Mayana, the investigator revealed that a search warrant was executed at the office and premises of Amamgbo after an intelligence report.
