Omoyele Sowore, the Nigerian human rights' activist, has taken a swipe at the Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, Godwin Emefiele, after the latter purchased the N100million presidential form of the All Progressives Congress, APC.

Emefiele had reportedly picked the nomination form on Friday from the party’s organising secretary at the International Conference Centre (ICC) in Abuja.

While reacting to the development, Sowore described Emefiele as one of “Nigeria’s longest-serving and probably most brazen thieves.”

Sowore lamented how a sitting governor of the apex bank would make such a move without first considering resignation.

He wrote on Facebook, “Godwin Emefiele, Muhammadu Buhari and his Cabal personal banker, most importantly one of Nigeria’s longest-serving and probably most brazen thieves has picked up All Progressives Congress N100m Presidential Nomination Form. Nigeria is finished but #WeCantContinueLikeThis #RevolutionNow.”

In a society where ex / serving governors, commissioners, ministers, senators, gospel preachers, speaker convicted of certificate forgery, the governor of the Central Bank would all damn the consequences, and purchase a presidential form worth N100 million. It is now obvious to Nigerians that we live in a society where only "Corruption Calls The Shots" and nothing will happen. It's sad.
