Paul Play Dairo has called for fairness in Nigeria and warned that there may be no Nigeria in a few years time "if the marginalisation of Igbos continue".

The singer, who is Yoruba, said he likes to put himself in other people's shoes before analysing issues.

Using an analogy of friends eating a meal to pass his message across, the singer said if one friend's hand is held to prevent him from eating while other friends are allowed to eat, it will only be a matter of time before the friend who isn't allowed to eat revolts.

He warned that to avoid violence in Nigeria, all tribes should be treated fairly.

Marginalisation of Igbos is over played. Their enemies are within. Introspection is what they require collectively rather than looking to others to hand things to them on a plate.
