Nigerian youths have besieged the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport in Abuja to welcome to the presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP), Peter Obi from his three-day study tour of Egypt.
On Thursday, Obi’s media aide, Valentine Obienyem, took to his Facebook page and shared photos of the presidential candidate visiting the New Capital Power Plant in New Cairo, Egypt.
In the photos, Peter Obi was seen with engineers at the power plant in Egypt learning how the country increased its power generation to become one of the biggest in Africa.
The presidential candidate returned to Nigeria on Saturday and was ambushed by a large number of youths who wanted to take pictures with the Onitsha-born politician.
