Shehu Sani, former Kaduna lawmaker, says the reputation of Nigerians is at stake following the cases involving ex-Deputy Senate President, Ike Ekweremadu and his wife, Beatrice.

It was reported that Ekweremadu and the wife were arraigned before a UK court on Thursday over alleged organ trafficking. The court denied them bail and adjourned the matter to July 7.

Sani took to his Twitter page appealing to the court of public opinion to be patient with their judgement and keep watch of the UK legal proceedings.

Sani on his Twitter page wrote:
Quote
“Senator Ike Ekwerenmadu: The court of public opinion should be patient and follow the UK legal proceedings.

“No doubt that is his case, but by virtue of the position he occupied, in a matter like this, the name and reputation of all Nigerians is involved.”
Meanwhile, Daily Mail reported that the couple who appeared before the Uxbridge Magistrate Court on Thursday, hoped to transplant the victim’s organ to their daughter who suffers from renal failure.

They had that the couple were arrested on Tuesday at the Heathrow Airport as they attempted to board a plane to Turkey where it was suggested that the procedure could take place.

Ekweremadu is said to have had £20,000 on him at the time of his arrest, according to prosecutors.

The couple have been remanded in custody and the case adjourned until July 7.

Whose reputation?  The terrorists from Northern Nigeria have killed and still killing thousands of innocent Nigerians in southern KADUNA , zamfara, Benue and many other states and you think their dastardly acts do not put Nigeria's reputation at stake. What will you say of the recent massacre of  worshippers at Owo by Hausa 6 terrorists?  Don't cover your shameful acts with Ekweremadu:s.

NIGERIANS LOST THEIR REPUTATION DECADES AGO WHEN THEY STATED STEALING MONEY AND HIDING IT IN FOREIGN BANKS. THEY LOST THEIR REPUTATION WHEN ALL YOUTHS BECAME INTERNET SCAMMERS. WHAT ABOUT RITUALISTS OR DAILY KIDNAPPING AND ARMED ROBBERIES.? HE MUST KEEP QUIET BECAUSE HE HIMSELF LOST HIS REPUTATION WHEN NIGERIA IN 2022 HAVE NO STABLE ELECTRICITY SUPPLY AND HE IS DOING NOTHING.

Grin Saying "Reputation at Stake" like it's not already so. That REPUTATION departed more than long ago. This man needs to stop deceiving or keep up with current times.  Grin

...HOW COULD A 15 YEARS OLD BOY HAVE CONSENTED?. MAYBE BUT CERTAINLY HE WASN'T AWARE OF WHAT HE WAS DOING. HE MUST HAVE BEEN TOLD THAT HE NEEDED TO UNDERGO ALL NECESSARY MEDICAL CHECKUP. ONCE HE SIGNED, BEING AND ILLITERATE, THE DEED IS DONE

Shehu Sani shut up. Your people and your region destroyed and are still destroying the reputation of Nigeria.  Terrorists , bandits and Fulani herdsmen  from your region have long destroyed Nigeria.
