APC Presidential Candidate, Bola Tinubu Picks Kashim Shettima To Make A Muslim-Muslim Ticket

Bola Tinubu, the All Progressives Congress, APC, presidential candidate for the 2023 election, has picked a Muslim running mate, according to Vanguard.

Recall that some stakeholders in the country had warned the former Lagos State Governor against picking a Muslim running mate, as Muslim-Muslim ticket would sideline the Christians.

However, a report by Vanguard on Sunday indicated that Tinubu has settled for Senator Kashim Shettima as his running mate.

Shettima, the representative of Borno Central Senatorial District in the Red Chamber, was a two-term Governor of Borno State.

Tinubu is expected to inform President Muhammadu Buhari about his choice of running mate within the week.

I knew that this Presidential ticket given to Tinubu surprisingly by the Northern governors was coming with a deadly price . TINUBU has finally nailed his presidential coffin. Now the Muslim North wants to use a Southerner to islamise Nigeria having failed through Buhari.  Tinubu shouldn't bother to campaign in the South because we will stone him.
