Twelve years after Nigerian singer-songwriter Wizkid labelled Soulja Boy as “wack”, the American rapper has hit back at the Star Boy, saying: “Ya mama Wack.”

added the 31-year-old whose real name is DeAndre Cortez Way.
Wizkid, born Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun, had tweeted far back on 12 May 2010:

“I swear soulja boy is wack!..jeeeezzzzz!.”
The tweet spanning for over a decade had been left unattended; only for rapper Soulja Boy to quote the post on 10 July 2022 with that response as seen in the screenshot above.
It is interesting to note that Wizkid fired off the tweet months after he began recording his debut studio album “Superstar” in 2009. The then-21-year-old released “Holla at Your Boy” as the album’s lead single on 2 January 2010.
Notwithstanding, some social media users have called the “Essence” hitmaker out, with some saying he was a troll before he came into prominence. Others however said Soulja Boy was using Wizkid to chase clout.
Meanwhile, Wizkid has not said anything.
